Soccer Spectrum
Marketing + Creative Director

At Soccer Spectrum, our mission was to help create the ultimate soccer experience.
We have been in business since 1986, which makes us the longest running soccer facility in Texas. With that history and loyal community, we wanted to step up our game and be known as the best place to play soccer in the state. I was hired on by the ownership group that purchased the facility in 2020.
My role was to manage all marketing efforts, plan and execute community events, recruit new sponsorships, create and manage signage, and collaborate with our Soccer Director and General Manager on team projects and to accomplish financial goals for our shareholders. Our goal was to revolutionize Soccer Spectrum to become one of the best soccer facilities in the country.

We wanted to engage with our local community as much as possible because we felt that our community was our biggest advantage. Players and families that have been around since the very beginning were still playing and spending time at the facility.
With a loyal fanbase that was by our side, no matter what, we had the opportunity to strengthen that bond to create positive word of mouth that our new ownership group wanted to make a positive difference for the facility.
We wanted to display those community values as much as possible through our marketing campaigns and as we planned leagues, tournaments, and events.
We partnered with local supporters clubs to help us learn how to provide an even better experience for those watching the games. Our entire community experience was a priority and we created events and experiences that excited soccer fans of all ages.
We wanted to host the most competitive, organized, and exciting tournaments in town. Hosting the best players from Austin, Dallas, and more, to battle it out for a cash prize.
These tournaments brought us a new customer base, those who solely play for cash as a living, and helped build our reputation as being one of the best places to play.
Since August 2024, we have hosted 3 Rapid Fire Tournaments and each tournament has had improved attendance and participation, which helps us increase the cash prize each time. Even partnering with local social media influencers to create awareness of our tournaments.
Community partnerships and events are an important part of our success. We grew our sponsorships every year and partnered with multiple local media platforms for campaigns.
Since 2022, we have doubled the number of teams that play at our facility, host multiple tournaments a year, and have partnered with 10+ sponsors throughout the metroplex. Our goals for 2025 and 2026 are to focus on the fan experience, our efficiency in our process, and to grow the love of the beautiful game.
Our big renovation project for 2025 is installing two professional grade scoreboards for our outdoor field.
