The Supporters Club Champions League is an adult 7v7 soccer league consisting of local supporters clubs that compete for the ultimate bragging rights of the title of the best club in Dallas.
What started as an idea during my interview, we started with friendly between the Liverpool and Tottenham supporters clubs back in 2022. As of May 2025, the league has now grown into a year-long competition with 10 participating clubs and a one-day tournament during the season.
The spirit of the competition is to bring the best fans together and cheer for your friends and sing your favorite songs, just like you would for your favorite clubs on TV.

As we were gathering interest from other clubs, we decided to partner with local sports radio station, The Ticket, to host a Premier League Fan Fest.
For this event, we invited the Tottenham and Liverpool Supporters Clubs to play a friendly on the outdoor field before they have a watch party in the bar. All while The Ticket was hosting a radio show at the same time. The event was a great learning experience, gave us the confidence that we could make the league happen, and helped us earn legitimacy as a place to host a watch party.

Once we had 3 clubs confirmed, we quickly gained interest and recruiting 10 other clubs. As a reward for taking a leap of faith and trying something new, we offered free practice time for all clubs playing in the league and donated $200 to each club or a non-profit of their choice.
Our first year consisted of friendly matches between the clubs. It was important for us to establish the importance of a community league. We love competition, but anyone that crosses the line would be held accountable. Our goal is to create a positive experience for everyone on and off the pitch and we knew any conflict on the pitch would create tension off the pitch.
We wanted to ensure that this league would be sustainable and everyone involved would buy in to what we wanted to create, before we made it more competitive. We also kept the entry fee 100% free because we understood that most clubs don't have a budget and are operating on volunteer hours. Games were scheduled during international breaks to help prevent any schedule conflicts with their watch parties or other events.

We kicked off the competitive season by hosting a 1-Day tournament. This tournament was a test to witness the atmosphere a competitive league would provide and it went beyond our expectations. It was the first time we earned over $10,000 and food and bar revenue in one day and kicked off the league in style, with Juventus Fan Club of Dallas etching their name on the traveling trophy.

After the tournament, we played in a year-long league where every game counts. The first time the clubs have competed in a serious environment.
In our first competitive league, we have a 3 horse race before going into the final day in May 2025.
The league has grown within our community and has now become a legitimate event where people want to watch and participate. Our goal for our next season is to recruit sponsorships to help us fund the league and to help it grow.
